Terms and policies

To ensure the highest quality of care and a smooth experience for all families, we have a few important policies in place. If a child becomes ill during a session, parents will be notified immediately; if there is no response or return, a $15/hour fee will apply after the first hour. For safety, when four or more children are present, two sitters are required, with a total rate of $20 hour (not per sitter). Additionally, all new clients must complete a brief initial visit with their sitter before the first babysitting appointment. A trusted adult must be present during this meet-and-greet, which helps the sitter become familiar with your child(ren), routines, and home environment—ensuring a confident and comfortable start for everyone.

OUR POLICIES AND TERMS

  • Sick Child Policy & Late Acknowledgement Fee

The health and well-being of every child is our top priority. If a child in our care shows signs of illness, the parent or legal guardian will be notified immediately. In the event that a parent or guardian does not return home within a reasonable time or fails to acknowledge the notification, a $15 fee will be charged for every hour following the initial notification. This policy is in place to ensure that sick children receive appropriate care and to respect the sitter’s responsibilities and time.

  • Multiple Children Policy

For the safety and quality of care for all children, if there are 4 or more kids present, two sitters will be required. This ensures each child receives proper attention and supervision. The rate for two sitters is $17 per hour total, not per sitter. This policy helps maintain a fun, safe, and manageable environment for everyone involved.

  • New Client Policy – Initial Visit Required

To ensure the best possible experience for both families and sitters, all new clients are required to schedule an initial visit before the first babysitting job. This short meet-and-greet allows the sitter to get familiar with the family, the home environment, and the child(ren)'s routines and needs. For the safety and comfort of everyone involved, a trusted adult must be present with the sitter during this visit. This helps build trust, set expectations, and make sure everyone feels confident moving forward. We believe strong starts lead to strong relationships—thank you for helping us create a safe and welcoming experience from day one!

  • Advance Booking Policy – 24-Hour Notice Required

To ensure that we can provide the highest quality care and give each family the attention they deserve, we kindly ask that all babysitting bookings be made at least 24 hours in advance. This advance notice allows us to thoughtfully prepare for your child’s needs and to coordinate our schedule in a way that supports both your family and our caregivers.

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and while we wish we could accommodate last-minute requests, we’ve found that maintaining this policy helps us create a calmer, more dependable experience for everyone involved. Thank you so much for your understanding and for allowing us the time to care for your little ones with the attention and love they deserve.
